I really cannot believe it! July is just around the corner and the Lord is blessing me abundantly! Last week, I got to lead kid's worship at Ridgeview Church in Rockwall, TX. I have been serving there since January, but know that the Lord used this week to build relationships and help me connect with the kids. After VBS on Sunday, I we played a song during "big church" and the kids were so enthusiastic and the Lord really blessed me and encouraged me through experience! I also got to spend over a week with my younger brother, Marshall! He was able to attend camp and then we got to shop for Brazil stuff, start packing, and hang out! On Monday, we went to Hurricane Harbor, where I attempted numerous times... and FAILED (sad day) at learning how to do the simulated kneeboarding ride. All in all, it was a great week!
This week I am leading Kid's worship for Park Cities Baptist Church at Sabine Creek Ranch in Royse City, TX. Check out their Fish Camp Blog (Thanks for the pics!). The kids and other leaders and staff have been so fun and encouraging! A lady came up to me this morning and said that she really enjoyed the worship time because her son, who never participates in worship, was singing and doing the hand motions, and was very grateful!
A good friend of mine, Misti aka Mama-sita, challenges the staff at Sabine Creek, (I'm just going to paraphrase) "Even though we do the same camp 7 times, this is their only camp and we have to be just as enthusiastic and ready as we were on the first day of summer." I always keep this in my mind and pray for energy and enthusiasm, because even though I love the songs and the Biblical truths they teach, believe it or not, sometimes I get a little tired of playing the same songs. :)
The Lord has also used tons of my friends and family to provide support, through prayer and finances over the past month! I recently mailed out letters have received a great response. Also, my garage sale went very well! I sold my drums, two guitars, and tons of junk. I still would like to sell my car, Epiphone Les Paul, and Marshall amp. Please be praying for the Lord to continue to provide financially! Here is a chart of the current financial support:

I will close with the comfort in His provision. I have not been bogged down by worry or anxiety. Of course, I am excited about the upcoming change, however, I am also serving and trusting in God while I am still here! I know that the Lord is mighty and active and he has me here this summer for a reason! As Psalm 147:7-8 says, "Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving. Sing praises to our God on the lyre, who covers the heavens with clouds, who provides rain for the earth, who makes grass grow on the mountains." He is Lord and King. He will provide. It's all for His glory!
