Just a Few Thank Yous...

Bibles from LHBC
Thanks Ridgeview ChurchLake Highlands Baptist Church, and The Flores Family for your classroom support.

LHBC sent me a class set of 16 hardback Hands-On Bibles!  This is such a blessing!  We have been using them everyday since!  It was pretty crazy.  I emailed Pastor Mark Farish and he said that they had exactly 16 Bibles ready to mail.  That's the exact number of students in my class!

Ridgeview's Bibles
The Children's Ministry of Ridgeview Church made and sold Christmas ornaments before Christmas and bought 2 boxes of Hands-On Paperback Bibles and mailed them to my class!  We just received the shipment yesterday and each kid in my class went home today with a Bible in their backpack.

The Kids Raising $$ for Bibles
I know that I posted this picture before, but here are the kids at Ridgeview doing their fundraiser to purchase the Bibles and then mail them here.

When I told my students about what the kids did from Ridgeview, they were amazed that kids could do so much!  They were so grateful and excited to put that Bible in their backpack today!  Thanks Joyce, the kids at Ridgeview, and everyone involved for all of your hard work.

So here is a little token of our appreciation from Ms. Duke's 3rd and 4th Grade class at Brasília International School.

The 3rd-6th Graders with their backpacks
My next "THANK YOU" goes out to Kaydee, Megan, and Lindsey for giving my class some sweet backpacks!

This month is Reading Month and all of the kids at BIS set reading goals for certain amounts of pages for the month.  I was able to give the 3rd-5th graders backpacks from Mission Kiddos.  They backpacks were all nicely decorated and the kids loved them!

He loved it!
All of my kids have brought those backpacks to school everyday with their books for Reading Month.  They were such a great surprise and gift!  Thanks friends!

Here is a little note from the Kids:

More updates to come!  Thanks for all of your support and prayers!
