2 Weeks into School

Science Objective:  Dissect a flower and label the parts

This year my class has 16 students from all over the world!  You can see them here!  They are such a blessing to me and we have just jumped right in to school and learning!  

This weeks memory verse:  Psalm 86:9-11

"All the nations You have made shall come and worship before you and shall glorify Your name.  For You are great and You do wondrous things.  You alone are God.  Teach me Your way, Oh Lord, that I may walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name."  

Mr. Axworthy and I wrote a song that we will play at camp next summer!  I posted the song on YouTube, but please know that it isn't the best recording.  This was just to help my kids memorize it at home.

Pray for me:

1.  Sept. 5-10 I am going to Paraguay with Rick Collins from Press On Missions.  I will be training leaders to be Recreation Leaders.  I also get to teach some cool Bible Lessons to kids and teenagers! Pray for God to move and kids to believe in Him and follow Him.  

2.  I am mentoring/discipling 2 teenage girls from my school, who also meet with 2 younger girls at my school for mentoring/discipleship.  The time has been so good and fruitful.  Pray for God to continue to bless the time together and to grow us! 

3.  SMASH (Students Making A Stand For Him) - I am serving with some other teachers from my school with the youth group.  Continue to pray for relationships to be built with the students that points them to discipleship and following Jesus.  

4.  One of my best friends, Sarah, to get her VISA to come to Brazil for Christmas break!  I am so pumped!  

5.  Pray for direction and guidance for my life - whether God is leading me to stay at BIS next school year.  I have to turn in my decision in December.
