New Adventures Coming Soon...

New Adventures Coming Soon... We, Dreds & Torpedo, were able to lead more camps than we have ever done in a summer!  After our first week of camp, Jesse Joyner, the camp pastor, asked us if we had ever thought about leading kids worship full-time.  We didn't really know what to say, as we were a bit surprised by the question.
However, that conversation began to open up doors for our ministry and stretch us as we seek to follow Jesus in this new endeavor.

So... Click & See What's Going On? 

1. We are moving to Dallas in June of 2014.
2. We are working with For His Kidz, a ministry that does booking and advertising for Children's Ministry leaders (Worship Bands, Entertainers, Speakers, etc.)
3. We are recording a new album called, "Wisdom, Stature, Favor," and it will be released Summer 2014.  
4. We are working on lyric videos & motion videos for children's leaders and parents to use with their kids.
5. We are buying some new equipment to make Dreds & Torpedo able to de events without a band, making it more cost effective for events and churches.
6. The estimated total cost for the Album, Videos, and Equipment is $18,000.  We are putting in $7,000 of our own money!  That means we are raising $11,000.  We need your help!

A day at Fiesta Texas with Torpedo & the Crosslands! So fun! 

Back in Brazil!
I arrived back in Brazil on Saturday morning without any of my checked luggage. Luckily it arrived today while I was at school and everything made it!

I am thankful to God for:

• My mom's surgery was successful and she is recovering!  We had some good times together and I am so happy that she is getting better each day.  
• My class is AWESOME!  My students were so good for the substitute, who was the ABSOLUTE BEST substitute I have EVER had.  She did everything that was in my lesson plans!  She graded papers!  My students remembered the things she taught them!   
• Monkeys.  I shared my breakfast with them this morning.  
• My luggage arriving (even though it was late), but it got here! 
• Good times with friends and family this summer. 

Please pray for:

• My students and their growth this year at BIS. 
• My mom to continue to heal. 
• The Dreds & Torpedo fundraiser for our next album. 
• Summer 2014 scheduling!  
• Sickness going around at my school.
• I am leading worship at my church in Brazil on Sundays.  This is pretty stretching for me since I am used to leading children!
