You never know where they are coming from,

I end the day offering the kids to choose between a high-five and a hug
And, almost all of them choose hugs.
I love these kids already.
"Hey officer, will your bullet proof vest protect you against a rocket launcher?" - My student that reminds me of Russell from the movie Up.
About the Tooth Fairy"What happens if your jaw comes out? Do you get one dollar or two?" -4th Grader #1 (She meant molar.)
"Well... it depends on how clean it is. Cuz one time she let me a note that said, 'You gotta brush better.'" -4th Grader #2
"Ummmmm... that was your mom. Fairies don't write notes." - #1 4th Grader
Last Friday, my partner teacher was absent.
"Well, Ms. Jones is sick today. So, you will have a substitute for her class."
"Oh no!!! Ms. Jones is sick!" - #1 4th Grader
"I hope she doesn't have ebola!" - #2 4th Grader
"What?!?! Ms. Jones is dying!?!?!?!" - #3 4th Grader
It was like playing telephone... but without the whispering.Unicycle
I just bought my first unicycle about a month ago and really want to learn how to do it, but don't have much time to dedicate to it.
"I know how to unicycle." -Charlie
"Will you teach me?" -Me
"Yes... You will fall." - Charlie
Note: I have fallen.
FBC Dallas is doing a church-wide month on STEWARDSHIP. So, me and a friend wrote a song for Kids Worship using Proverbs 15:16 and Proverbs 3:9.

1. A few Sundays ago, I taught my first Bible lesson while juggling at FBC Dallas.
2. Administrators are in my room daily to observe my classroom practices and checking for classroom culture, interventions, alignment, and engagement.
3. Surround yourself with great thinkers.
